Aside from advising on general private client matters I am on the panel of approved Court Deputies and the only one in Dorset. When someone loses mental capacity and there is no power of attorney in place or an attorney has acted inappropriately the appointment of a Deputy is necessary. This can become very complicated for the uninitiated. This is where I can help as I have the necessary experience to make the application or resolve the issues that have arisen during the administration of the power of attorney.
