I am a solicitor and Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. I have nearly forty years’ of experience in dealing exclusively with Wills, Probate and the administration of deceased persons property ( administration). I create lifetime trusts and settlements. I deal with all aspects of Inheritance tax including the reduction in a client’s Inheritance Tax liability, sometimes referred to as Estate Planning.

I work with accountants and independent financial advisers to find solutions that are not always apparent to those with less experience. Business Property and Agricultural property and the related issues surrounding succession play a part of the work that I do, finding solutions for the client. Where estates include international aspects my other professional qualification as a Notary Public gives me a valuable insight into foreign jurisdictions and how the tax issues in this country effect matters abroad. I deliver a quality service finding solutions by never accepting that there is nothing that can be done to help.

Within the community, I am a vice president of Swanage and Wareham Rugby Club and a member of a variety of local business and networking groups. I served for ten years on East Stoke Parish Council and am the lead trustee of a local charity.
