I have been qualified for over 35 years with many years of Private Client work with a more particular specialisation in this area for the last 5 years. Although this includes the management and administration of trusts I also specialise in advising on Capital gains, Private Residence Relief, Agricultural and Business Property Reliefs strategies to reduce tax liability where it can’t be reduced, reporting gains, in particular the online reporting as required. In addition, I advise on Inheritance tax, income tax and the legal effects and implications of trusts.
Over my career, I have also worked in the areas of family and children law, Property, Landlord and Tenant and business tenancies so I have a background that adds knowledge of other issues that can surround a trust and its investment activities.
I try to speak plain English when I can and I am good at explaining complicated concepts in understandable terms.
