I have over 15 years’ of experience as an employment lawyer. Before that, I worked in Human Resources for commercial organisations, which enabled me to offer comprehensive legal and practical advice on the whole range of issues which arise from employing people, being employed and/or bringing an employment relationship to an end.

My clients range from large international organisations to smaller national and local businesses (both commercial enterprises and charities), individual business owners, directors and employees.

As well as drafting contracts of employment, policies and procedures and related documentation, I specialise in advising on disciplinary procedures and settlement of claims. Where disputes cannot be settled, I advise on bringing and defending claims in the Employment Tribunal, including claims for breaches of confidentiality, pursuing the recovery of confidential information from departing employees and claims for breaches of restrictive covenants.

I also have a wealth of experience in advising on employment law issues arising from the purchase and sale of shares and businesses including the transfer of employment contracts under the TUPE Regulations.
