As a mother and someone who has been through a divorce herself, Margaret is fully aware of the impact divorce can have, not only on the adults, but importantly, she understands how it can affect children. If you are going through the breakdown of your relationship then Margaret has the expertise, the experience and the empathy to help you through the process.
“People who come to see me almost all say the same thing by the time they leave; “I wish I had come to you sooner”. In spite of what people might think about lawyers, one of my first tasks is to get people to sit down and think about whether or not their relationship is really over, and then plan a strategy to move forward”.
“Although I offer advice on the break down of a relationship, what people will get is a plan. They will at least know where they stand and what they need to do next, and in understanding this, people leave feeling much more in control of the situation. That plan might be about starting divorce proceedings, but equally it might a plan of action that could save their relationship”. Margaret Baker
