We’re Delighted To Be Able To Welcome Clients Back | HK News

We’re delighted to be able to welcome clients back at all our offices

| Published on June 19, 2020

As with most other organisations, maintaining business as (un)usual during the coronavirus pandemic has been challenging. However, successful planning, new technologies and an agile approach to the provision of various high-quality legal services, we have continued to assist our many valued clients.

Our team are used to dealing with the unexpected, for us it has been business as usual.

Meeting your solicitor in person is now possible at all our offices.

With certain lockdown restrictions being eased, and with the appropriate safety measures now in place, we are able to offer face to face meetings at all offices in Dorset and Somerset.

Throughout the pandemic, we have continued to support our clients by providing various digital ‘face to face’ methods of communication to ensure that they received the legal advice they needed when they required. Whilst our offices have been closed to clients, we put in place the appropriate social distancing and hygiene measures to allow face-to-face meetings to safely take place.

  • Social distancing measures –  All visitors are being asked to respect the latest UK government guidelines. This includes staying 2 metres away from others where possible and only allowing 2 clients on the premises at one time. • Hand sanitising facilities – We have provided hand sanitising facilities at each of our offices. To protect our staff and other visitors, we please ask you to use this provision when you arrive and again before you leave.
  • Stay home if you don’t feel well – If you have a cough / cold symptoms, have been in contact with anyone who is poorly, or someone with COVID-19, we kindly ask for you to stay at home and self-isolate. We intend to remain open but this can only happen if our entire workforce remains fit and healthy.
  • Book an appointment in advance – To help reduce the number of people in each of our offices at any one time, we encourage you to book an appointment in advance. You can do this by contacting your solicitor directly, filling in a form on our website, or phoning your local office.

If you are concerned about visiting our offices in person, we are still able to conduct meetings using Facetime, Skype or WhatsApp, all of which come with appropriate security and privacy measures.

We will continue to monitor the situation as Government advice is updated, so please regularly visit our website and Facebook page for the latest information and updates concerning how we are managing to operate in a safe and responsible manner.

We really appreciate your support and understanding during this difficult time and hope you and loved ones are managing to stay safe.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Simon Cross, Managing Partner
