Humphries Kirk scoops first place at Quantuma’s Bournemouth Charity Quiz Night at Vitality Stadium

Leading law firm Humphries Kirk, entered a team into Quantuma’s Bournemouth Charity Quiz Night on Tuesday November 20 at AFC Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium.

Humphries Kirk won first place at the Bournemouth Quiz Night and drew joint second place nationally, out of more than 100 teams. Quantuma, the leading business advisory firm, held the Quiz Night in eight different locations, raising more than £20,000 in total for nominated charities.

After winning first place at the Bournemouth Quiz Night, Humphries Kirk donated £1,412.50 to Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, one of its nominated charities which it supports via fundraising activities.

The Humphries Kirk team, ‘The HK Numpties,’ consisted of Howard Yarnold, Martin Varley and Darrell Stuart-Smith, all partners of the firm, as well as solicitor Roger Cole, trainee solicitor Stephanie Bellamy and paralegal Rebecca Brown.

Darrell Stuart-Smith, partner at Humphries Kirk, commented: “We were delighted to be crowned the local champions at the Quantuma Quiz this week and to come joint second nationally was a huge achievement. We came joint second place with the Manchester Young Professionals who donated their £1,412.50 to Mind.”

David Meany, partner at Quantuma, commented: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank all teams that participated on the night; we had an amazing turnout both locally and nationally. It was a huge success, raising more than £20,000 collectively, which will be donated to Chilterns MS Centre, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, Mind, The Prince’s Trust and Great Ormond Street Hospital.”

We are hugely grateful for the donation received which will be used to provide relief from sickness and injury for the people of Dorset and Somerset.”

What we are doing to keep you safe?

We would like to reassure all our clients, contacts and those new to enquire with us that your safety is our primary concern.

When booking appointments with us we will keep your details solely for contact tracing purposes, we have Perspex protective screens in each reception, staggered meeting start times, we have masks available in each reception and meeting room and gloves so we can wear PPE if you need us to, after each meeting we are cleaning the meeting room and all contact surfaces on top of our daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of the offices.

We offer home visits again wearing PPE or telephone appointments via video conferencing.
