Humphries Kirk holds communications day for partners and staff

Dorset and Somerset legal firm Humphries Kirk hosted its third annual communications day at Springfield Hotel, Wareham, on Thursday, May 24.

This special event was organised for partners and staff to discuss the success and direction of the business. The senior management team presented the practice’s latest news and new team members were given the chance to meet all of the partners and fellow colleagues from other offices.

Members of staff were also divided into groups to take part in team building activities that were either cerebral, such as brain teasers and letter games, or physical, such as moving a carpet without touching the ground and crossing an ‘acid lake’.

John Chittenden, managing partner at Humphries Kirk, said: “Our communications day is such a great way of discussing what the firm has in the pipeline. It’s important we continue to grow and develop the firm in the right direction and the activities are a great way to get to know each other outside of the working environment.

“The communications day gave us the chance to reinforce precisely what we stand for, which is to serve our clients and look after our staff.”

Humphries Kirk has offices in Bournemouth, Parkstone, Poole, Swanage, Wareham, Dorchester and Crewkerne and has an international network of lawyers.
