Our Personal Injury Team can help you to claim compensation for injuries and financial losses caused by uninsured or by untraced drivers (hit-and-run). The Motor Insurers Bureau is funded by the Motor Insurance industry as required by law. Claims against uninsured drivers are dealt with in the same way as claims where there are insurers. Where there is a hit-and-run and the driver of the offending vehicle cannot be traced, the procedure is different but HK Law can still assist.
In many more serious cases, we can work collaboratively (at least to some extent) with the MIB to ensure that claims are dealt with quickly and fairly.
