Free legal and financial advice provided by leading local law firm

Humphries Kirk is putting the finishing touches to its plans for its Wills surgery on Thursday, March 28 from 9am until 1pm.

Delivered by Humphries Kirk and Humphries Kirk Financial Advice Service (HKFAS), the free 30-minute appointments cover topics such as the importance of having a Will, the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) and the range of financial products and services available.

This March session will also highlight the work that the firm does with Cancer Research UK and explain how charity gifts can be left in a Will.

The session will take place at the law firm’s office in Crewkerne and will be hosted by Hannah Keenan and Susan Nicolson, solicitors from Humphries Kirk, as well as Matthew Isaacs, financial planner at HKFAS.

Laura Staples, partner and joint head of the private client department at Humphries Kirk, commented:

“Working with charities and organisations such as Cancer Research UK is really important to us at Humphries Kirk, and many don’t realise that charitable gifts can be left in a Will. While there’s no obligation to do so, it’s a nice way to pass on a legacy to an organisation that may have helped a friend or family member at some point during a person’s life.”

To book in for the surgery, contact the Crewkerne office by emailing or by calling 01460 279100.
