Humphries Kirk Poole staff are joining in with the Poole Bay Walk to raise funds and support ‘Harold and the Life Buses’ on Sunday 5thJuly. The walk is being organised by the Rotary Club of Poole Bay.
The Rotary Club’s target is 200 walkers and they expect to arrange a shorter walk for those with accompanying children, including two walks of around 12 and 15km for adults to do, along a core course.
The race will start and finish in Baiter Park, where there will be a family fun day event with numerous activities including a bouncy castle, climbing wall and other attractions for children. There’ll also be a live band and refreshments.
All of the money raised by the sponsored walkers will go directly to Life Education Wessex. A £10 registration fee for all adults over 16 is required. So far, 3 members of HK are signed up to take part.
