Litigation Solicitor (NQ-3 years’ PQE) – Full time preferred – Dorchester

We have an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor – NQ – 3 years PQE – to be based at our Dorchester office. Full time hours are preferred, although consideration will also be given to candidates seeking part time hours (circa 17.5+ hours per week).

The role will involve working within a busy team on a varied civil litigation caseload. Candidates must have proven experience of handling a variety of civil litigation matters with minimal supervision, and will demonstrate the characteristics required to ensure the highest client service standards are maintained whilst also meeting time recording and billing targets. Working knowledge of Personal Injury, Debt Recovery and Contentious Probate work is highly desirable.

Company Commercial Solicitor (6+ years’ PQE) – Full Time – Dorchester and/or Poole

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Company Commercial Solicitor with 6+ years PQE at Associate/Salaried Partner level who has proven experience of corporate transactional work to be based in our Dorchester and/or Poole offices.

The role will involve working within a busy team on a very wide range of company/commercial work, which may include: company and business sales and purchases, contract drafting and negotiation (covering all types of contracts including Terms & Conditions of Sale/ Purchase; Supply/ Distribution/ Agency /Franchise agreements etc), private equity/ investment documentation and other corporate finance related transactions; Shareholders Agreements and disputes, share capital restructuring; employee share option and other incentive schemes; business start-ups, business succession planning; education sector work including academy conversions and multi academy trusts.

Legal Secretary – Full Time – Dorchester

We are now looking for a Full time Legal Secretary to be based in the Land Department at our Dorchester office to provide secretarial support to our Land Lawyers.

Candidate Profile:

This is a role for a skilled legal conveyancing secretary. You will have a good overall knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures from instruction to post completion. An understanding of commercial land law is desirable. The main duties are set out in the job description.

Finance Manager – Full time – Wareham

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full-Time Finance Manager to join our management team at our offices in Wareham.

The role will report directly to the Business Management Team comprising of Partners and a Finance Director.

The Finance Manager will lead and manage a team of 3 which currently consists of: Assistant Finance Manager, Legal Cashier & Credit Controller.

Candidates are required to possess ILFM qualification (Institute of Legal Financial Management) at Associateship level or above (or the equivalent experience) and be AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA. Previous supervisory experience along with relevant finance management experience (from legal private practice) and a good understanding of SRA Solicitors Accounts Rules are essential.

Office Admin Apprentice (15 month fixed Term) – Southbourne (Bournemouth)

We currently have a requirement for a full time Office Admin Assistant (Apprentice) to be based at our Southbourne office on a 15-month fixed term Apprenticeship.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop admin and reception skills in a highly professional environment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Business Admin Level 3 qualification via an appropriate training provider sourced by the Firm.

Candidates should be aware that the role will involve a degree of light lifting and carrying (i.e. files) and regular use of stairs. There may also be daily shopping and postal duties that will involve leaving the office for short periods of time as needed.
